A complete creative system for the Lowy Lecture — where design, rhythm, and storytelling converge.
November 2025
Client
Lowy Institute — Australia’s leading international policy think tank.
Project Overview
The Lowy Lecture 2025 stands as the Institute’s flagship event — a night that brings together global leaders, thinkers, and changemakers to reflect on the ideas shaping our world.
Jaygo Creative partnered with the Lowy Institute to craft a complete creative system for this year’s Lecture — from the opening film and event identity to the media wall, stage visuals, and technical design for the live stream and camera layout.
This marks the fourth consecutive year Jaygo Creative has delivered the Lecture’s opening film — now evolved into a fully integrated visual and technical experience.
Creative Direction
The creative goal was to celebrate a year of global impact and ideas, transforming data, dialogue, and diplomacy into an energetic visual story.
Jaygo’s direction centred on rhythm and momentum — designing visuals that move with purpose, celebrate the Institute’s achievements, and set the tone for the night ahead.

The Approach
Momentum sits at the heart of Jaygo’s creative philosophy — both in music and in storytelling. The 2025 video was built around an upbeat, fresh music track, with visuals choreographed to the rhythm to keep energy high and engagement strong.
Style in motion:
Fast, rhythmic cuts and kinetic text
Layered imagery combining video, photography, and motion design
Seamless transitions that echo the Institute’s global perspective
A bright, modern tone that builds anticipation as the Lecture begins

Event Design
Beyond the film, Jaygo Creative designed the overall event look and feel — a cohesive visual system used across the stage screens, media wall, camera PIPs, sponsor integrations, and live stream graphics.
This unified design extended the tone of the video into the physical and digital space, connecting every visual element into one aesthetic language. The result: a consistent and elevated identity that framed the Lowy Lecture logo, camera layout, and broadcast designwith clarity and impact.
Technical Direction
Jaygo also developed the technical design for the live stream and camera layout — mapping how the event would translate both in-room and online.
This included camera shot planning, screen feed design, and content integration to ensure the creative vision carried seamlessly across every output.

Impact
The 2025 Lowy Lecture opened with energy, pride, and polish — uniting visuals, music, and motion into a moment that celebrated a year of influence and ideas.
The cohesive design elevated the atmosphere both in the room and on screen, reinforcing the Lowy Institute’s reputation for excellence and innovation.
Collaboration
Collaboration was key throughout the process. Working closely with the Lowy Institute’s communications and events teams, Jaygo aligned creative direction, messaging, and technical delivery — ensuring the end result not only looked world-class but also felt authentically Lowy.
