Pacific Change Makers – The First Video Podcast

In early 2024, I helped the Lowy Institute take a bold step into a new era of storytelling by producing their very first video podcast — a visual evolution of the Pacific Change Makers series. After producing their audio podcasts since 2020, I pitched the transition to video as a way to deepen engagement and give voice and presence to the people at the heart of the Pacific region.

I designed the full visual setup — from camera placement and furniture layout to the use of a central portrait screen that showcased dynamic branding and elevated the in-room presence. Working closely with the Institute’s team, I created a tailored intro and outro sequence that matched the established Pacific Change Makers identity while setting the tone for a fresh chapter in their digital storytelling.

The debut episode featured Oliver Nobetau, the FDC Pacific Fellow from Papua New Guinea — a dynamic young voice in Pacific affairs. His insights on climate change, regional security, and cultural identity were matched with an elegant, professional setting that gave the conversation the presence it deserved.

This project added a new layer to my ongoing creative partnership with the Lowy Institute, expanding our shared commitment to thoughtful, impactful, and beautifully executed content.
