I created this projection artwork using a mixed media approach. The foundation was a composite of photos I’d taken in bushland around Tasmania, forming the backbone of the scene’s composition. From there, I layered in elements above and below to build depth - digital painting in Procreate, animations in After Effects, and additional scene imagery such as parrots, a mirror, a swing and flowing water. To complete the piece, I composed a subtle soundscape that looped on the feature wall during the AV1 Long Summer Lunch 2020 at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
